Hopscotch aka HoppyPants, HP, HPurr, Princess Pants, Stinky, etc…

Hopscotch is my full grown pocket pit bull. She is probably the love of my life. I call her HP which is short for Hoppypants which derives from Hopscotch. Our birthdays are one day apart which makes me say that we are kindred spirits. She’s a Sagittarius.

How did HP get her name? Well…when she was a puppy, this child was a bit difficult when it came to walks. She used to turn around and bite her leash like it was play time. I was taking her out one day, maybe in the first few weeks I had her, and I noticed that she looked like she was hopping around. There came Hopscotch.

One reason that I love HP is that she is the best of both worlds. She’s small enough to still sit in my lap like a giant toddler, but protects me like she’s a full grown, 100lb pit. I know the rep that Pits get, but I can guarantee that HP’s temperament will change your mind. I have countless friends, visitors, strangers, people who don’t really like dogs, and have left my house asking when HP is going to have puppies. She’s that cute.

HP doesn’t have much to say but I just love to take pictures of her. She is my over grown toddler who will never back talk or need a college tuition.
